These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CWS Pocket Ledger platform operated by Crafty Web Solutions ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

CWS Pocket Ledger is a cloud-based financial management platform that allows individuals and businesses to track income, expenses, invoices, budgets, and financial reports. The service is available at https://cwspocketledger.com and as a Progressive Web App (PWA).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By using CWS Pocket Ledger, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
One person may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Plan details and pricing are available on our pricing page.
Payments are processed securely by Paystack. By subscribing, you authorise Paystack to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Refunds are issued at our discretion for technical failures attributable to us. Change-of-mind refunds are not provided.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or other users' accounts.
Reverse engineer, copy, or distribute any part of the service.
Upload malicious code, spam, or any content that infringes third-party rights.
Use the platform to facilitate money laundering, fraud, or any other financial crime.

6. Your Data

You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into CWS Pocket Ledger. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your data solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, design, branding, and content comprising the CWS Pocket Ledger platform is the property of Crafty Web Solutions and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses caused by downtime or service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CWS Pocket Ledger and Crafty Web Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimers

CWS Pocket Ledger is a financial tracking tool and does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of your records and for compliance with applicable tax and financial regulations.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
